In order to satisfy customers and provide
convenient, beneficial and high-quality products and services, Furukawa Sangyo
Kaisha, Ltd. proactively utilizes various personal information, including the
personal information of its customers. For this reason, one of Furukawa Sangyo
Kaisha, Ltd.'s most important responsibilities is to protect personal information
from risks such as leakage, loss or alteration, and protect the relevant individual's
personal rights.
Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. prescribes its Privacy Policy herein and
shall endeavor to carry out necessary and appropriate protection of personal
information. Each executive and employee of Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. (including
temporary and dispatched employees) shall always comply with this Privacy Policy
in the handling and management of personal information. Furthermore, Furukawa
Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. shall seek those to which Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. commissions
the handling of the personal information Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. holds to
comply with same and shall appropriately supervise them.
The personal information object to this Privacy Policy shall be all
personal information learned or held by Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. during the
execution of Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.'s business activities and includes
personal information concerning Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.'s employees. |
- Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. shall establish
an organization to promote the protection of personal information and at the
same time assign a person responsible for the management of personal information
protection and endeavor to carry out appropriate management of personal information.
- Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. shall establish
rules and regulations regarding personal information, such as its acquisition,
use and provision, and shall make all employees comply with such rules and regulations.
- In the case that Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.
outsources the handling of personal information, Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.
shall narrow down the personal information to be handled by the outside party
to its bare minimum, select those who are recognized as handling personal information
appropriately and have the commissioned party execute appropriate management
of the personal information, such as by secure management, maintenance of confidentiality
and prohibition of re-commissioning to a third party.
- Regarding the personal information that Furukawa
Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. holds or has been commissioned, the Company shall execute
rational and secure management measures and endeavor to prevent such matters
as leakage, loss and alteration.
- Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. shall comply with
Japanese laws, rules and other regulations related to protection of personal
information.
- Through example by leadership, Furukawa Sangyo
Kaisha, Ltd. shall educate all employees and endeavor to make this Privacy Policy
known by all employees as well as enhance awareness regarding the protection
of personal information.
- Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. shall execute the
periodic and continuing evaluation and revision of the Company's personal information
protection system, including this Privacy Policy and related regulations, and
shall strive to improve the same.
