The Company has implemented the Satoyama conservation activity in Ichihara City Chiba prefecture, from September 5th to 6th, as part of initiatives for our environmental policy on the biodiversity conservation .
The 27 people, participated for this time, were supported by the local volunteer group "Otozure Yamano-kai" including the NPO "Chiba Satoyama Center" learned how satoyamas contribute to the biodiversity instead the global environment, however satoyamas have been devastating due to the weakened relationship between people and satoyamas induced by the modernization. After that, the participants carried out conservation activities mowing and a bamboo grove maintenance with volunteers.
The Company recognizes that the global environmental conservation is the most important issue for the international community, and continuously contributes to the sustainable global future as an environmental safety trading company.
