Furukawa Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. (Head office: Minatoku Tokyo, President: Atsuhiko Yokota), Iyobe Shoji Co., Inc. (Head office: Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Pref., President: Tatsuya Iyobe), and KELEK Co., Ltd. (Head office: Hachioji-shi, Tokyo, President: : Kazuhide Juta ) established a voluntary association FUTURE DRONE SYSTEMS for the development and operation of drones and robots, on April 1, 2020.
DRONE SYSTEMS was established by Iyobe Shoji which is a leader in the field of the drone and robot development according to applications, KELEK which is led by Mr. Juta, an expert operator with 17 years of history in the drone aerial photography, and Furukawa Sangyo in Furukawa Electric Group, with the aim of integrated operation of the body development, operation, and planning proposals.
The main activities are shown below.
- The drone and robot related body development and operation
- Training of operation engineers
- Promotion of drones and robots to new fields
Currently under development projects:
(1) Development of a transport drone with a load of 50 kg or more
(2) Development of deep and shallow surveying automatic navigation boat
