The promotion of female activity

Furukawa Electric Group has declared its management
philosophy to be to “utilize diverse human resources for
the realization of a creative and vigorous company group.
” We believe it is essential to create an environment and
culture within which diverse human resources can be active
in the promotion of global management.
We will make the following efforts to establish an environment in
which employees can play active roles.

We will implement measures to create an environment
where employees can work flexibly to enable employees to balance work and family life.

  • Shortening of core flextime:
    By shortening core time from 10 am to 3 pm to 11 am to 2 pm, work styles considerate of individual circumstances will be possible while further maintaining balance with family life.
  • Promotion of paid leave:
    We will create a culture that makes it easy to take leave by naming leave for each purpose and increase the rate of leave taken. (Maternity leave for fathers, anniversary leave, etc.)
  • Introduction of a telework system:
    We will create an environment within which employees can work while maintaining the balance of work and family life.

We will aim for the introduction of a new personnel system.

We will create an environment within which career formation suitable for individuals is possible.

  • Training suitable for work levels:
    We will create an environment within which all employees can take training in accordance with their careers, and further expand their potential to demonstrate abilities.

We will aim for the implementation of employee development in accordance with the education system diagram.
